Privacy policy

This policy describes how ALTARYS LABS processes personal data collected on altaryslabs.com.

1. Who processes your data

ALTARYS LABS is the controller of the data collected on this site.

2. What data is collected

This site only collects data when you voluntarily complete the contact form. The following is then collected:

  • your name;
  • your company or organisation name;
  • your contact email address;
  • your contact phone number;
  • the offering your enquiry relates to;
  • the content of your message.

The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, an anti-bot mechanism. For that purpose Cloudflare processes technical signals from your browser, such as device characteristics or browsing behaviour, to verify that the submission is not automated.

No other data is collected without your knowledge on this site: there are no analytics cookies and no advertising trackers.

3. Why this data is collected

This data is used solely to handle your enquiry, that is to:

  • get back to you;
  • understand your requirement and respond to it;
  • follow up on your enquiry commercially.

It is never sold, transferred or used for advertising purposes.

4. Legal basis

Processing is based on your consent, given when you voluntarily complete the contact form, and where applicable on pre-contractual steps taken at your request.

5. How long it is kept

Your data is kept for as long as strictly necessary to handle your enquiry and the commercial follow-up arising from it.

In line with the proportionality principle set out in article 35 of Ivorian law no. 2013-450 of 19 June 2013, which requires data to be erased once it is no longer necessary for the purpose of the processing, ALTARYS LABS applies the following retention periods:

  • if your enquiry leads to a commercial relationship, your data is kept for the duration of that relationship and then for 3 years after it ends;
  • if your enquiry does not lead to a commercial relationship, your data is kept for 3 years from your last contact with ALTARYS LABS;
  • technical data processed by Cloudflare Turnstile is kept for the periods defined by Cloudflare for that service, generally short.

At the end of these periods your data is deleted or anonymised, unless a longer legal retention obligation applies, for example for accounting purposes or in the event of a dispute.

6. Where your data is hosted

Data submitted through the contact form is stored in a database operated by Cloudflare, Inc. and hosted in Europe. It is therefore transferred outside Côte d'Ivoire.

Cloudflare is a processor providing contractual data protection guarantees. ALTARYS LABS is reviewing the relocation of this hosting to the African continent.

7. Who has access

Only authorised ALTARYS LABS staff responsible for commercial follow-up have access to your data.

The following technical processors are involved, strictly within the scope of their work:

  • Cloudflare, Inc.: site hosting, Turnstile anti-bot protection and storage of enquiries;
  • Resend: sending notification emails for incoming enquiries.

ALTARYS LABS ensures that these processors offer sufficient data protection guarantees and access your data only as far as necessary to perform their service.

8. Your rights

Under Ivorian law no. 2013-450 of 19 June 2013 on the protection of personal data, you have the right to access, rectify, object to and delete data concerning you.

To exercise these rights, please write to contact@altaryslabs.com.

You may also refer the matter to the Telecommunications/ICT Regulatory Authority of Côte d'Ivoire (ARTCI), the Ivorian data protection authority, if you consider that your rights are not being respected.

9. Cookies

This site places no analytics cookies and no advertising cookies.

Only cookies strictly necessary for the Cloudflare Turnstile anti-bot mechanism may be placed when the contact form is submitted.

10. Changes to this policy

ALTARYS LABS reserves the right to amend this policy at any time to reflect changes to the site, its services or applicable regulations. The version in force is the one published on the site at the time of consultation.
